What is EFST?
EFST or Essential food safety training is a program developed by Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA). This Basic food safety training program required all food handlers operating within the emirates of Abu Dhabi to gain knowledge and understanding that will help to ensure food is handled safely throughout the food chain. It is a 6-hour training course which is completed within a day. Food handlers will learn about the four essential pillars for safe food handling- Cross Contamination, Cooking, Cooling and Chilling.
